Geocache Description:

This is a themed box which can be found at the base of a multi-trunked tree.
The letter "L" is the theme

This cache is going to be archived on Monday 10th August

We are archiving all of our 100+ Yorkshire caches.
We'd love you to come and find any caches you can before that date.

Although we encourage you to take as much swag as possible before the caches disappear, please do NOT take the cache itself. Cachers are still trying to find our caches and, once we archive them, we're hoping to bring them in ourselves.

The idea is to try and swap swag starting with the letter L. It would be great to hear what you have put in, and how inventive you have been. (e.g. a "lucky cat", "Lucy's locket" or perhaps even a "laughing smurf")

This should be an enjoyable cache for Geokids as we will try to ensure that there are always a few little goodies starting with "L" for them to rummage through. And remember, swag isn't just for children, so get your thinking caps on and try to swap an "L" of a load of swag.
(Don't worry if you haven't come prepared, feel free to just enjoy swapping anything)
Please let us know if all of the "L" themed stuff has gone so that we can top the box up for the next finders.

This cache is one of a number on a 3.5 mile circular walk incorporating Loy Lane and South Town Lane. Each cache can be completed as individual caches and their terrain/difficulty levels are given for each as a one-off cache. The total circular walk is reasonably flat (Terrain: 1.5 - 2).
The Loy Lane Round bookmark list shows which caches are currently available on the circuit.

Loy Lane is a pleasant (if sometimes muddy) off-road bridleway. South Town Lane is used by local traffic only. The traffic is light and the road is used by locals to walk their dogs. A pavement runs along the short section beside the A174.
