WORKSHEET AND PUZZLE KEY ARE IN THE GALLERY

Before I moved to North Carolina in 2014 I lived in New Jersey. Fellow geocachers, BraillerCD, put together a series called "Crossings." I had a blast doing this series with my daughter, Lynzie aka StuffedPiggy. I decided to bring the fun I had with the series down here to NC. With permission from BraillerCD to use their concept, my daughter and I worked on putting this series together. Lynzie did a lot of work on this remotely from NJ helping me find the placement locations and mapping out needed coordinates for the puzzle. In reality, this series is both of ours. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

There are many signs along the road to give a driver a heads-up on what may be up ahead. Some signs are general, (e.g. a CURVED ARROW indicating a bend in the road). There are signs of a more intense nature, (e.g. a STOP SIGN). Ignoring that one can have serious repercussions to the driver and others. Then there are the ones that WARN of what may be crossing in front of the driver that they need to be wary of (like the picture above). That is what this series is all about. There are 11 caches in this series and each will get you a smiley when found. It isn't required that you find them all. There is, however a final (puzzle) cache to complete the adventure. You WILL need all 11 of the caches to solve the puzzle to get the final coordinates.

Upon finding any of the caches in this series make sure to take note of what may be crossing the road ahead. Think of all possible answers. What "WE" thought of may not be what first came to mind for YOU. After finding all the crossings you should have what you need to complete the puzzle cache. It's not hard and just requires a bit of thought and then a bit of minor calculating.

Other caches in this series are: GC6HVBR, GC6HZGG, GC6HZJ3, GC6HZV5, GC6HZVE, GC6HZVQ, GC6HZW5, GC6J021, GC6J07J, Final: GC6H5MV Note: Crossings #2 and Crossings #9 were archived. Their answers were GOLFCART and TRAIL.

NOTE: GrammyGwen won this cache container at a Dirty Santa event in 2014. It has the signatures of many local cachers on it.
