Geocache Description:

Welcome to Butler County---the Largest County (land area) in Kansas!

Butler County was established in 1855 and is 1447 square miles.

Before Sedgwick County (the county to the west) was established in 1867, Butler county's western border was Meridian Ave. in west Wichita----which is an additional 13 miles west!!
