Geocache Description:

Celebrate Manhattanhenge and meet other geocachers all at the same time. It is a quick event and hopefully the weather cooperates. Before the sunset, there will be time to sign the logbook, trade TBs, chat, and find a good spot to take photos.

Where: Outside the American Museum of Natural History at the intersection of Columbus Ave and W 79 St.

When: 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM

What is Manhattanhenge? It is an event during which the setting sun is aligned with the east–west streets of the main street grid of Manhattan. It occurs twice a year, on dates evenly spaced around the summer solstice. For more info, here is the wiki link: Manhattanhenge.
