Hegneskoven er en fin lille privat skov på Orø. Den tilhører Hegnegården, som ligger syd for skoven, og som driver et kursuscenter. I sensommeren 2016 skal der indrettes ca. 8 motions- og legeredskaber langs stierne i Hegneskoven. Der er ydet EU-tilskud til projektet. Se Orø Nyt nr. 168 side 7 (related web page).
For at finde denne cache skal du gøre følgende:
1) Parker evt. bil i nærheden af P-koordinaterne: N55 46.939 E011 49.917, som er en af indgangene til skoven.
2) Begiv dig dig derefter til fods eller på cykel langs stierne i skoven. Undervejs skal du finde de 2 tradtionelle caches: Orø 56:Hegneskov Vest (GC6HAN3) og Orø 57:Hegneskov Øst (GC6HANW). I hver af de to caches er der nogle tal, som skal bruges for at udregne slutkoordinaterne til denne bonuscache.
3) Begiv dig derefter til udsigtsbænken ud for det sydøstlige hjørne af skoven, på koordinaterne: N55 46.769 E011 50.463. Herfra er der en helt fantastisk udsigt over mod Sjælland. Kyndbyværket ses mod NØ. Du skal nu tælle antallet af ca. 2 meter lange planker, som bænkens sæde og ryg tilsammen er lavet af.
4) Mens du sidder og nyder udsigten, kan du nu beregne slutkoordinaterne til Bonuscachen som følger:
Udfør en såkaldt Gade med tallene fra de to cacher, og tallet fra bænken. Gade-formel:
N55 4c.fih E011 lg.efc
med reduceret tværsum N=3 og E=3.

Multi-cache! The cache is not at the starting coordinates. Read the description below.
The Hegneskoven ("Fenced Forrest") is a neat little private woods on Orø. It belongs to the Hegnegården farm, which is located south of the woods, and which operate a training center. In late summer 2016, about 8 exercise- and training devices are to be erected along the trails of the Hegneskoven. The EU has supported the project. See Orø Nyt no. 168 page 7 (Related web page).
In order to find this cache, you should do the following:
1) Park your car (if applicable) near parking coordinates: N55 46.939 E011 49.917, which is one of the entrances to the woods.
2) Proceed on foot or by bike along the paths in the woods. Along the way you must find the 2 traditional caches: Orø 56:Hegneskov Vest (GC6HAN3) and Orø 57:Hegneskov Øst (GC6HANW). In each of the two caches there are some numbers which are required to calculate the final coordinates of this Bonus cache.
3) Then, proceed to the bench with a view near the South East corner of the woods, at coordinates: N55 46.769 E011 50.463. From here, there is a fantastic view towards Sjælland. The Kyndby Electric Works is seen towards the NE. You must now count the number of wooden boards, each about 2 meters long, which together constitute the seat and backrest of the bench.
While you are sitting and enjoying the view, you can now calculate the final coordinates for the Bonus cache as follows:
Perform Gade-decoding using the numbers from the two caches, and the number from the bench. Gade-formula:
N55 4c.fih E011 lg.efc
with digital roots: N=3 and E=3.
