This series is a pleasant walk bridging the gap between marshchapel and Tetney. As suggested you cross many bridges on this walk. Eventually making a circular route that can be started in Tetney. Thoresby bridge or marshchapel. The caches will be of differing difficulty from easy to the downright near impossible ha haa . So there is a cache for everyone. Tetney Blow Wells Nature Reserve Here the reeds have been cut and removed to allow grasses and wildflowers to grow. Blow wells are artesian springs where water under pressure escapes from the chalk through structural weaknesses in the boulder clay. The 4 blow wells used to provide water for Cleethorpes, but bore holes (on the same site) are now used to reduce the risk of contamination from the associated ponds . If you have time go take a look at this wildlife reserve . We can't put a cache in here but its open for you to have a look . Howevever Tetney gets its water not from here but from a bore at Fulstow. please replace everything exactly as found. Do not damage or force any container's. So all cachers can have the same experience as yourselves. All logs must be signed to class as a find. Happy caching
