Log Island Traditional Cache

This is one of severalcaches that I have put out on Big Bradford Lake, a substantial flooding just south of Waters, Michigan. Geocachers can access this by kayak or canoe, or perhaps by a swim through fishy, weedy waters.

Big Bradford Lake is good for fishing, relaxing and wildlife viewing, with eagles, loons, kingfishers, ducks, turtles and muskrats among the bounty.

You will need to bring your own writing instrument.

t makes for easy and fun kayaking, but keep your eyes peeled not just for the markers that indicate submerged obstacles, but for  other stumps/trees. Water level fluctuates, depending on weather, rain run off and the nearby small dam.
