The "better half" of the Goldfinch geocaching team is known to us as Lady Goldfinch. She and her hubby have found over 24,000 geocaches, and they also host the local meet-n-greet for geocachers who live here or who are just passing through. Goldfinch suggested that we make some geocaches with unusual containers for this spring's annual geocache event, so for this one we thought about accessibility.
We found a place on a seasonal dirt road where the side of the road is nearly as high as a mailbox. The small container was originally placed (but not any more!) so that the passenger should be able to grab the 'cache just by rolling down the window and reaching out -- if the vehicle is heading WEST. In other words, the 'cache is on the NORTH side of the road. After replacing or repairing it several times, we had to revert to a more traditional gelato-container cache a few feet from the road. Please do your best to replace the container as found. There are not very many muggles out here, or any other traffic for that matter, and our geocache "Tribute to Red Hat Grandma" is south of here a little way.
