O_Geo_My: This Geocache has been stolen. It was placed by me and my Mother, Oldtimerfun in my grandmothers memory. Unfortunately, my mother has also recently just passed away. I currently do not have the time to replace this cache, but hope to bring it back before too long.

Geocache Description:

This cached is placed here at Soda Springs by Curky's Daughter (Oldtimerfun) and Grandson (O_Geo_My) in her memory. For many years, Curky and her husband Melton operated a popular business named "Redwood Rustys" just a few miles south of this location. She is missed greatly and will be remembered in the hearts of those that knew and loved her, and hopefully a little bit through this Geocache.

This is an ammo can cache. Soda Springs got its namesake from the natural mineral water spring found at the back of this pond. The soil color around the spring is affected by the minerals present in the water. This site is actively inhabited by beavers and many indicators of their prescence can be found here, including the remnants of a beaver dam. There are 2 entrances, but the southern gated entrance is recommended. This Geocache is placed with a FTF prize, as well as several other tradeables, and 3 Travel Bugs. Please return cache just as found.
