Lytes Cary Loop 4 Traditional Cache

Lytes Cary Loop 4. Lytes Cary Manor (National Trust) has 3 marked walks on the estate. This loop takes in the estate walk (red) and the river walk (yellow). It is approximately 3 miles long and the terrain is easy. Cache placed with the kind permission of the National Trust.

From the seats along the field edge you over look the Naval Air Station of Yeovilton. Leaving the red route you pick up the yellow route which continues along field boundaries. Look out for Skylarks in the spring and summer. There are numerous Buzzards around the area. Look back across the fields for great views of the house.
