The 7 Bridges walk explores the land surrounding Ballater and takes in some stunning scenery. It is a circular walk now that the Polhollick Bridge has been rebuilt following the flood of 2015.
The first section of the walk is buggy accessible and child friendly - it becomes more difficult for buggies after "Twit Twoo" but is still child friendly.
Stand on the bridge and look towards the river and along with stunning scenery you'll see an old fishing hut. This is "Polvier", the old Fishing Lodge of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, the wife of King George VI and the mother of Queen Elizabeth II.
A step up from a crocodile cache, the same but slightly different.
