Kokkino Nero (means Red Water) is an extension of the mountain village Karitsa.The villages name is due to the thermal spring with red water that flows in the region. The carbonated water has the color of the metal salts and is considered to have healing properties which have been known since antiquity. Visitors can join a drinking cure with a cold bath in the new stone basin (17°C).
The healing waters of " Kokkino Nero " bubbling in a fluvial , varied natural environment , rich in vegetation with aromatic plants and wild flowers.
To find the cache you have to follow the small footpath next to the parking coordinates that will lead you down to the waters. Be careful for the rocks are wet and the surroundings might be slippery also in summertime. If you pass some of those rocks you can find “the hole” with a diameter of appr. 1m.
We placed the cache in the tree behind the big rock on the opposite of the steps that leads you down in appr. eye height ( of course it depends on the personal size). Please put it back this level because in wintertime the waters may rise. See spoiler and byop!In case of any problems, a local friend will help.

Αυτή η μνήμη cache βρίσκεται κοντά στο Κόκκινο Νερό, ένα μικρό χωριό με τις διάσημες πηγές ιαματικού νερό. Είναι αφιερωμένη στην Άννα και στον Γιάννη, οι οποίοι μας έδειξαν αυτό το όμορφο μέρος.
Το Κόκκινο Νερό ( σημαίνει Red Water ) είναι μια επέκταση του ορεινού χωριού Karitsa.Tο όνομα του χωριού οφείλεται στο ιαματικό κόκκινο νερό που ρέει στην περιοχή. Το ανθρακούχο νερό έχει το χρώμα των μεταλλικών αλάτων και θεωρείται ότι έχει θεραπευτικές ιδιότητες που είναι γνωστές από την αρχαιότητα. Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να ενταχθούνσε μια θεραπεία πίνοντας το νερό και κάνοντας νεροθεραπείες στις νέες πέτρινες λεκάνες (17°C). Η περιοχή των ιαματικών νερών του "Κόκκινου Νερού" αφθονεί σε φυσικό περιβάλλον, είναι πλούσια σε βλάστηση με αρωματικά φυτά και αγριολούλουδα.
Για να βρείτε τη μνήμη cache πρέπει να ακολουθήσετε το μικρό μονοπάτι δίπλα στις συντεταγμένες στάθμευσης που θα σας οδηγήσει κάτω στα νερά. Να είστε προσεκτικοί γιατι τα βράχια και το γύρο έδαφος είναι υγρά και μπορεί να είναι ολισθηρά και το καλοκαίρι. Αν περάσετε κάποιες από αυτές τις πέτρες μπορείτε να βρείτε την" τρύπα" με διάμετρο περ. 1 μέτρου. Τοποθετήσαμε το cache σε ένα δέντρο πίσω από το μεγάλο βράχο στην απέναντι πλευρά της σκάλας που σας οδηγεί προς τα κάτω, ακριβός στο ύψος των ματιών (φυσικά αυτό εξαρτάται από το προσωπικό μέγεθος του καθενός ) . Παρακαλούμε να το βάλετε πίσω σε αυτό το σημείο, γιατί το χειμώνα τα νερά μπορεί να αυξηθούν . Byop !

Kokkino Nero (Rotes Wasser) ist eine Erweiterung des Bergdorfes Karitsa Der Name kommt vom roten Wasser der Thermalquellen, das in der Region fließt. Der Cache liegt im Baum hinter dem großen Felsen, auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Stufen etwa in Augenhöhe (natürlich hängt es von der persönlichen Größe ab). Bitte legt ihn unbedingt wieder auf diesem Niveau ab , weil im Winter das Wasser höher steigt. Achten auf den Spoiler und denkt an einen Stift!
