This park and grab is located on the county line dividing Lincoln and Oneida Counties.
Lincoln County was founded in 1875 and named after Abraham Lincoln. Its area covers 907 square miles and has a population of approximately 29,000. The county seat is Merrill. Oneida County was founded in 1887 and named after the Oneida people. Its area covers 1,236 square miles and has a population of approximately 36,000. The county seat is Rhinelander.
