We are the 15th Lethbridge Beaver Scouts – the White Tails (oldest Beavers)! We are a group of 8 White Tails and we wanted to place our FIRST geocache as part of our Northern Lights Quest Project. We picked geocaching because, well…we love geocaching! It was a lot of hard work learning how to put together our geocache (there ARE some rules!), but it sure was fun.
We wanted to share some of our favourite things that we did this year with other geocachers. This year, our favorite trips were to the Astronomy society to look through the telescopes and to the Telus Spark Centre. We have had fun learning how to set up our own tents and how to build our very own ‘one match’ campfire!
We picked Indian Battle Park as our geocache location as we have spent lots of time down here. So much in fact, that we now have our very own Beaver Dam at the park! – if you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out! Each of us left one tradable item in the geocache for you to trade. Please don’t forget to sign the log book and hide the container back where you found it as we don’t want our geocache to get muggled!
Thank you and Happy Scouting!
