Geocache Description:

UBIQUITOUS

Adjective - constantly encountered, widespread

This is one of a series of cache hides showcasing some of the more common urban hides.  They are all meant to be easy to find, even for the beginner, and will tell you exactly how the cache has been hidden.  All you have to do is spot it.

Experienced cachers can stop reading now.

We all use bus stops at some time in our lives.

Bus Shelter designs have changed many times over the years.  Some are wood, some are stone, and some are metallic.  Often they are a combination of these materials.

As a result, there are usually a plethora of spots a cacher can hide a really small container somewhere on the structure.
They can be hidden in the roof, under the seat or in the case of more recent metallic designs, in little nooks and crannies both high and low.

Because the area in which the cache is placed is a bus stop, muggles can be a problem at any time - sitting, walking or driving. On the bright side you can catch a bus here (Route 513 Meadowbank Wharf to Carlingford or Route 521 Parramatta to Eastwood - stops for 545 Parramatta to Chatswood are also within 100 metres).
Did you check the terrain rating here? As the bus stop is on concrete it would usually be a Terrain 1.  The Terrain 2 in this case signifies that it is not accessible just standing on the footpath.  You have to climb up - in this case on the wooden fence behind the shelter.

The provided hint, if you are still having trouble (or are desperate for the First2Find) tells you exactly where the cache has been placed. So now you know what you're looking for, and where it is, go get it!

The cache is a nano - a very small container no bigger than the tip of your finger.  This one is black so it blends in with its surroundings - just like the one in the background image.  It's also magnetic which is problematic here as the shelter is aluminium.  So I added a magnetic attachment for it to cling onto - be careful when replacing it to pick the right spot.
The log scroll should always be put in the cap of a nano container to make it easier for the next cacher to remove it - if it's loose enough not to be a problem it may well drop into the bottom, just don't insert it there yourself. Many recent nano logs have a metal rod in the centre which can be used to help remove it for signing if it is tight. Just use the magnet in the container's base - easier than tweezers.

As it's a nano you will need to bring your own pen / pencil - if you don't sign the log you can't claim the find (no "I forgot" or "my geodog ate it" excuses accepted). And remember to replace it the same way you found it, so the cache is still there for the next cacher.
