This series of 9 Cache’s can be completed on foot or by car as all Cache’s are roadside. Every one of these cache’s are different and vary in terms of difficulty I have been putting these out one by one over the last month or so and have received some interesting comments from people on some of this series Cache’s There is only one Cache that uses the traditional plastic box , so be prepared for some different styles of Caches. One of the Caches has room for TB’’s and swops and another two Caches have room for some small swaps like coins and mini toys so bring some trading items if you like , Although the route is accessible by road or foot there are some steep hills Horse riders and livestoke are a common on these roads so please take care when driving around . I have added a waymark for suggested parking if parking up and walking this series . This Room for parking is at the site of Plusha 1 and there is room for two cars .
Plusha Bridge is a grade II listed building in Linkinhorne. The Bridge sits over the River Lynher. .The Upstream and downstream sides have 3 round arches with 2 cutwaters. About 15 metres long and about 4 metres across. Parapet walls about one metre high, with concrete coping.
The Bridge was built to give the miners of Caradon convenient access to their parish church at Linkinhorne
The Cache - Please be carfull not to drop this cache as if it rolls down the bank into the river i dont think i will be able to retrieve it .
After see a DNF log i was a little worried as this is was a easy find and should not give out any DNF's . So i did a check on the cache and Unfortunately the cache is missing , Nowhere to be seen , very surprising this as it was just a rock with a hole i had drilled into it . so i have place a new cache , the co ordinate are the same as it has only been moved by about 12 inche,s . it is a different sort of cache to the one that was originally there and i have hidden it a bit better but follow the hint and you should not have any problems .
