The Saltburn Valley Gardens are a maze of pleasant paths and tracks with seats at frequent
intervals. Refreshments, a Woodland Centre, children’s play areas and a miniature
railway can all be enjoyed – all set in a mix of formal gardens and ‘wild’ woodland.
Walking here is suitable for people with impaired mobility or with a pushchair,
wheelchair or mobility scooter. It is a lovely approach to the sea front and all downhill! You can
always take the Victorian cliff lift to get back up!!
