Kyiv Day or officially the Day of Kyiv is celebrated in the last weekend of May. The first celebration of the Kyiv Day took place in the last week of May 1982. Kyiv celebrated its 1500th anniversary. This event touched the heart of citizens. Since 1984 began regular vernissage days on Andreyvskiy uzviz. In the last week of May 1987 was the first officially celebration of the Day of Kyiv.

This year's program of celebration provides many cultural and sporting events in Kyiv.

One of these events should be meeting for geocachers from Kyiv and other areas of Ukraine and our foreign colleagues too. I invite our friends  to be present at  the meeting "Kyiv Day 2016", which will take place on the territory of the National Complex "Expocenter of Ukraine" (near the station "Vystavkovyi Tsentr") 29.05.2016 from 10:30 to 11:00.

The plan provides an introduction meeting (for those, who are not personally acquainted with each others), exchange TB and discuss our future goals of the creation of interesting and informative caches.

День міста Києва святкують в останні вихідні травня. Перше святкування Дня Києва відбулося наприкінці травня 1982 року - тоді Київ святкував своє 1500-річчя. Ця урочиста подія торкнулася серця киян. З 1984 року почалися регулярні вернісажі на Андріївському узвозі. А в останню неділю травня 1987 вперше був офіційно відзначено День міста Києва.

Цього року програма святкування передбачає багато культурних та спортивних заходів в багатьох куточках Києва.

Одним із таких заходів повинна стати зустріч геокешерів з Києва, інших міст України та наших закордонних колег. Запрошую всіх прийняти участь у зустрічі "Kyiv Day 2016", яка відбудеться на території Національного комплексу "Експоцентр України (ВДНГ)" (поруч з метро "Виставковий центр") 29.05.2016 з 10:30 до 11:00.

За планом зустрічі передбачено знайомство (для тих, хто ще не знайомий ;-) , обмін TB та обговорення майбутніх планів по створенню цікавих та пізнавальних схованок.
