Geocache Description:

A place for trackables to rest their weary heads and kick up their tagswhile they do some fishing.

Available from Dawn till Dusk!!!

This Travelbug Hotel is located at the Cole M. Rivers Hatchery. This is a beautiful area with walking trails, a park, and a some great fishing. Not to mention a nice visit to the hatchery its self. If you happen to see an employee wearing a cowboy hat say hi thats my dad.

The hatchery was built by the US Army Corps of Engineers in 1973 to mitigate for spawning in rearing areas blocked by the construction of Lost Creek, Applegate, and Elk Creek dams. The hatchery is named after a biologist that worked on the Rogue River for 20years.

Please be respectful of the area and leave the cache well hidden.

There is a container of goodies inside for FTF. The manager of the Hatchery gave me a few things to add to the cache includiing stickers, key chains, and pencils. We have also included some beautiful rocks ( common opal, green calcite, oregon sunstone, tigerseye, mica in pegmatite, mahogany obsidian, horn corral fossil, and a fossil shell. My son also added a few things for the kid in all of us.

We started our own trackable in this one named Fishpa that wants to travel to other hatcheries. And we left in a brand new trackable for someone to start off on an adventure.

Happy Caching

Congratulations to NorthtoAlaska55 on FTF
