The irrepressible Mathqtpi embarked on her geocaching journey in the fall of 2015 when our friend, PrairieRose78 pointed to a cache near the end of a 5K walk we had just completed, and said "There are some trackables that have been stuck in there for quite while, do you mind if we stop?" Within an hour she had signed up for premium membership, and there was no looking back! With geofriends including SJConnelly, PrairieRose78, SootyChurch, and her favorite caching companion (and husband) Wrestle457, Mathqtpi has stormed up and down the east coast and, now, only 8 months after her first find, we are honoring her with a golden ammo can. She is not just racking up the finds, however, she's a true ambassador for the sport. She has recruited family and friends, carries extra bags and logs for on-the-fly cache maintenance, has worked with CO's to replace and update long time hides, and now has started placing hides of her own. We are placing this cache on one of Mathqtpi's favorite walking trails and hope it will inspire others to come and visit. We are looking forward to many more of her excited reports of her latest FUN find, and to watching her numbers climb. Here's to you Mathqtpi!!
