Geocache Description:


(RO) Structura geologică a Cetățuii este extraordinar de interesantă. Argilele roșii și verzi s-au instalat în așa zisele gresii Corbula, care și-au primit numele de la moluștele numite Corbula. La 48 de metri de Someș se află peșteri care au fost utilizate de oamenii cavernelor, dar acum din păcate sunt folosite de oamenii săraci sau fără casă. Din punct de vedere geografic, Cetățuia dezvăluie seria teraselor frumoase ale Someșului. Strămoșul Someșului a curs la același nivel cu Cetățuia, iar după milioane de ani de muncă a intrat în platul dealului. Cetățuia în sine este la 60 de metri deasupra nivelului actual al Someșului. Poate că cele mai multe probleme sunt cauzate de straturile care s-au format în epoca oligocen superior, care pot fi găsite în jurul Clujului, din cauza cărora s-au creat mai multe alunecări de teren. Pe partea laterală a Cetățuii, putem observa mișcări de teren proaspete, iar în ultimii ani, multe case au fost distruse. În februarie, 1918 a fost o alunecare de teren mai mare, care s-a soldat și cu decesul câtorva persoane.

Pentru a loga acest earthcache vă rog să-mi trimiteți prin e-mail răspunsul la următoarele întrebări:
1) Ce conţin formaţiunile de nisip din zonă?
2) Ce cauzează mișcările de sol?
3) Cât de mult aluneca Cetățuia spre oraș anual (în inch)?

(EN) It is of particular interest, particularly the geological structure of the hill. Huge mass builds most of the hill. Red and green clays were installed in so-called sandstone Corbula, who received their name from the molluscs namely Corbula. Huge mass builds most of the Citadel. From 48 meters from the Somes are caves that were used by cavemen, nowadays unfortunately is used by homeless and poor people. Citadel of geographically series reveals beautiful terraces of Somes. The ancestor of the Somes river course at the same level as the Citadel, millions of years of work lasted until entering the flat hill. The hill itself is 60 meters above the current level of Somes. Perhaps most problems are caused by upper Oligocene strata that can be found around Cluj, a series of landslides were created in them. On the side of the hill we can observe the movements of fresh ground also we can see that in recent years many homes have been destroyed. In 1918 February was a landslide higher, which demanded human sacrifices.
