Hudson HCMS1 Traditional Cache

A lovely walk through the woods of what was once an historic horse farm. This cache was placed by the Middle School and Elementary students of nearby Hudson Country Montessori school as part of their 2015/2016 technology class.

Ward Acres is a 62 acre mostly wooded park on the site of a turn-of-the-century horse farm. The farm bred some famous harness racers whose gravestones you will pass on the way to this cache. Also along your journey lie the decaying remains of the huge horse stables. The terrain is easy and the cache can be reached by a nice trail. Keep an eye out for an abandoned house on a hill.
