Lake Medina was created in the early 1960's as a way for the city of Medina to augment its water supply.
As the city's population increased, an alternate water supply from Lake Erie was developed
and Lake Medina was no longer used as a water source after June of 2002.
Medina County Park District has a lease agreement with the city of Medina
and operates the area as a county park.
Visitors to Lake Medina can enjoy hiking, biking,
fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and cross-country skiing.
(No fishing license is required.)

Park hours are from 8:00 a.m. until dark. Absolutely NO night caching!
This geocache is placed with permission of the Medina County Parks. Permit # 103.
