Geocache Description:

This series is about the love of a board game that janssej and muskcat83 have.  Based on Sid Meier's Civilization Computer game! The game starts off at the very beginning with a small town and you go off discovering the world.  You can win by science, by warfare, by culture, by diplomacy or by a mix of all and have the most points at the end.

This series is based on the Technology Victory as you build a pyramid from Level 1 Techs all the way to the elusive Level 5 Tech – Space Flight.  The series is a mixture of traditional, a couple of multi’s and a few puzzles.  Each cache was made specifically with its Tech in mind.

The pyramid looks like                       J

                                                             H   I

                                                          E    F   G

                                                       A    B   C   D

Another caching series by muskcat83 and janssej.  We also acknowledge the assistance of marlsj and jakevl with some of the cache creations.

In the computer game (versions 4 & 5) when you discover a tech, a famous saying is quoted.  We have used these quotes here too!

Please note this area is baited by 1080 – therefore we don’t recommend that you take pets.

MATHEMATICS (LV2)

"Mathematics is the gate and key to the sciences" - Roger Bacon

What would the world be without Mathematics? The greatest subject there is to study at school! Mathematics is a great technology in the Civilisation game as well, as it allows your technology to enhance its military power.

The log book for this cache can be found in the instrument that could have helped you solve the co-ordinates puzzle. Too bad you need to solve the puzzle first!

The cache can be found at: S 32 21.ABC & E 116 09.DEF

Puzzle: Use BIMDAS!

ABC = 100 x 4 + 50 x 9 – 12 ÷ 2

DEF = 302 - 12

This cache has $1 for the FTF
