Geocache Description:

A city resident Rose Jerome offered her family homestead to the Sisters of Mercy and St. Jerome Hospital was opened in October 1917. Dr. William Johnson joined the staff in 1918; he was a nationally recognized surgeon, who served as chief of staff until his death in 1950. Thought out these decades a new bed tower and emergency department were some of the upgrades. St. Jerome had a total of 96 beds at one time. On January 1, 2000, St. Jerome and Genesee Memorial merged together and formed United Memorial Medical Center.
The cache was placed with permission of Mark Schoell and Dan Ireland.

The cache is a well camo nano. Please take care and hide in the same spot.
