Back in January 2010 I put this cache out on Mt Painter. Alas - before I could get it published another cache within 160m beat me to it - thanks jusojara ! - and so my cache sat 'up there' for a while. Everytime I drove along William Hovell Drive I'd look up and say "I'd better go get that cache soon". Well flash forward to the Birthday Event in April this year and I decided it really was time to go get it. My kids and Boot65 followed me probably thinking that without the (long lost) coords I wouldn't be able to find it - if it was still there ! I think I surprised them by going straight to it and - Yes - it was exactly as I hid it and in pretty good condition as well.
So what to do with it? Put it out again somewhere else of course ! I haven't changed a thing - even the original log book is in it. It was going to be called "Caching around Canberra", but now I think "Better Late Than Never" is more appropriate.
A simple cache - the fun is the walk in through a wonderful reserve with lots of other caches around if you don't already have them ticked off.
