Geocache Description:

Like the rest of Bingham, this site has quite some history behind it. Evidence suggests it was once home to a traditional windmill, Floobyfish tells me that when she was a child, she called this spot the 'magic woods'! Magical or not, it's a peaceful spot and a nice access point to the Bingham Linear Park Nature Reserve which follows the course of a dismantled railway line. A variety of flora and fauna can be seen along the linear, and I highly recommend paying it a visit if you have not already done so.

This cache has been placed with the kind permission of Bingham Town Council. The park is managed by Friends Of Bingham Linear Park, please respect and enjoy the area.
Congratulations to The Effinghams for a speedy FTF on 05/17/2016!!!
