Geocache Description:

Westhorpe is one of the 4 communities which make up Killamarsh in North East Derbyshire. There was a colliery in Westhorpe until 1984. Killamarsh was mentioned in the Domesday Book as Chinewoldemaresc which means “Cynewalds Marsh”.

This is another cache in Westhorpe Round Series (see Westhorpe Round - West End view, CG62A3Q, for details).
NB You do not need this cache to find the bonus, it contains no letters/numbers it only exists to allow you to bag another cache.
You will need something to write with and tweezers for this series. The paths in this area can be confusing. The best route is to leave Westhorpe Round - West End view. heading for WR2 - College view. About 85 paces along Ross Court turn right onto a public footpath. Follow the path to the cache. I would then return to Ross Court to continue the round.

The cache can also be approached from WR6 - Fun Guy.

When we set the cache there were friendly horses in the adjacent field. So if you don't like horses, be warned.
