Geodetic Beauty (easier now) Multi-Cache

This compact multi has two stages condensed into a 2 minute walk, with a bit of simple coordinate projection added for fun. Seriously, the walk from parking will take longer than the entire multi. Please be sure to use the parking area noted, there is no safe parking immediately next to any stage of this multi.

The posted coordinates will take you to a survey marker, the namesake of this cache. This is the most common geodetic survey mark and is a cast metal disk with a stamped legend on its face.  This one is set in the top of a concrete wall and is courtesy of FDOT.   While the marker may not be a beauty, the area around here certainly is. While this marker is not able to be logged on benchmark sites, the one directly across the road is!

Take a moment to enjoy the area and then note the numeric info on the marker; I have substituted lower case letters for the digits:

Using the letter substitution above for the numbers in the marker, project a waypoint "ebg" degrees and "gae" feet.

Once you have the projection, you can walk to the final.   Look to the east for the cache.
