Geocache Description:

SRT Muriel Creek Ranch House

Muriel Creek Ranch House is Lakeland’s first Net Zero energy building. It is conveniently located 6km east of Ardmore or 17km from Cold Lake on Highway 28. The Ranch House is operated by Greg and Tina Sawchuk as part of their Muriel Creek Cattle Co. Greg and Tina offer grass fed beef and pastured poultry on their family farm and they enjoy ‘strutting their stuff’. Greg told us “It is a rare experience in today's farms where multiple species are being raised.” The Sawchuk’s have been giving farm tours for over ten years and have increased the wide assortment of animals and over 10,000 people have been exposed to what a true working family farm is like.

Date: Thursday, July 7, 2016
