This cache is entered in the "It Came From Kijiji" category.

Should be just a quick park and grab for the experienced geocachers, maybe less so for newbies.

Another Calgary History (CH) series because this intersection and what's around it have changed so much over the 37 years I've lived in Calgary. I remember a self serve laundry occupying the building on the NE corner where the liquor store now is. The ESSO station on the SE corner is now long gone ( I remember paying 24.9 cents a liter here) and SAIT's original tall residence on the SW corner is now being dismantled floor by floor and will disappear shortly from the landscape. Earls has also been here for a very long time on the NW corner (around 30 years) and this is the original Earls location in Calgary. Then there used to be the 'Ye Olde Pizza Joint' (purported to be Calgary's first pizza place in 1961 per a Glenbow Museum news article I stumbled upon) that existed a block east where the Emerald Garden Peking & Oriental Restaurant now is - they had the very best thin crust Hawaiian pizza.

Please note that I had to rate this as a micro even though it is larger than a 35mm film canister - you will see why when you find it. Yes, it is camouflaged (would you expect anything less) - please ensure the cache container and it's camouflage are put back in place at the location you found it. You will need to bring your own writing instrument as well.

Parking is available nearby but do pay attention to posted signage. Also, the grassy area to the east and north of this geocache are all city of Calgary owned lands which came as a surprise even to me - the city owns many, many small pieces of land all over the place.
