Whilst walking along one of the numerous and varied tracks in the Scenic Reserve, I came across a mound of orange coloured, rocky earth with gum trees nearby. These reminded me of time I spent working in the Australian outback in the remote Aboriginal town of Doomagee - hence the name of this cache. It is a 100ml Sistema container with logbook and pencil and a couple of little swaps.
Not a park and grab. You can access the cache area several ways - here are 2 options: park at S44 23.820 E171 12.977, walk about 60 metres east along road to track which goes uphill then climb to one of the higher MTB tracks to find the cache. Or park at S44 23.829 E171 13.316 and enjoy a longer walk along the tracks.
