Today we became DNF specialists as we dnf'ed our way through several series, including the Lunchtime series. With a few smiles but lots of frowns on the scorecard, we decided that the starving cachers needed a break from the hunger pangs of another DNF. So we went to my favorite BBQ joint in Athens, Cripple Creek BBQ, to find that it is permanently closed and is now a pizza joint or something under different management. But now we were jonesing for BBQ, so we headed down the road; hid a cache (can't get a DNF doing that!); and found us a good ole' local BBQ joint. This place survived the scourge of high meat prices that put other local proprietors out of business the last few years (thanks, Obama!).
