The cemetery is named after a family that settled in the area in the late 1800's. The Chapman family had 16 children on a 80 acre farm. There are still Chapman's living in the area. Information gleaned stated that another family that lived on an adjacent farm had 14 children and are also buried in this cemetery. This is a quaint and pretty out of the way cemetery with many "old" residents.
The story is that the two sets of children still play at night.
Search for a headstone with the name of Geraldine and Royal Kempher. They were a nice couple who enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. Here you will find a medium sized cache (one for adults and one for children).
There is trackables in the cache. There are nice Blue Knights Law Enforcement pins & patches.
