Geocache Description:

Welcome to the 2016 Edition of the WRGT. All hides along this section are on the WEST SIDE. Walking on this trail numerous times, I`ve seen a few things that have made me ask myself," Why is this here?" This spot is one of them.

The Western Reserve Greenway Trail (WRGT) GeoTrail is a 26 mile long paved trail operated by the Ashtabula County Metroparks. The trail is funded by grants and donations, and receives no public funds. The trail is maintained by volunteers, so please remember to C-I-T-O during your visit.

The GeoTrail was created by the Western Reserve Geocachers with the coins funded by the Ashtabula County Convention & Visitors Bureau. In order to earn your coin, you must complete all 26 miles of the trail within the Ashtabula County. In each mile of the trail, at least 3 caches will contain a code word printed inside the container lid and/or logbook. You must collect at least 2 codewords from each mile of the trail. Once you have 52 code words, complete your trail passport and take it to one of the coin dispensing locations to receive your coin.

When turning in your passport, you may be asked to complete a brief survey.

Coin dispensing locations are:
Ashtabula County Convention & Visitors Bureau on Austinburg Road (41 47.380, -80 51.219)
Shannon's Mini Mart on Rte 307 (41 46.323, -80 51.139)
