This trail offers views of the Salmon River and many birds especially waterfowl. This trail is windy and offers views of a marsh were you may see ducks and other waterfowl. This trail is often used for cross-country races in the fall and other park activities. You can watch the recovery of a forest fire that occurred on this trail in the fall of 2016.
