The river needs our help again. The local visitors have once again left a large mess that needs to be cleaned up as they have not left the area as they found it.
I'll bring trash bags. As my friend Clan Riffster often suggests on these events you should bring gloves, a change of clothes, a hat, water, snacks and a grabber if you have one. If you plan to hunt any caches along the way, you should add a pokey stick to your gear. There are critters that call this area thier home and are not always fully understanding of why we are there and what we are doing so do use care when reaching for trash and moving about. Venomous snakes, alligators and wild hogs are among the critters that call this area home. If you are not comfortable paddling or are are unable two and wish to partake, please note any trash you pick up in and around the various walking trails within the Little Big Econ State Forest. Either wait for us paddling the river to reach the landing, or leave your trash at the Snow Hill bridge and I'll take care of it.
We will be meeting at the Willingham Boat launch at the intersection of CR 419 and Willingham Road in Oviedo and taking out at the Snow Hill Road bridge located at 2000 Snow Hill Road. We will be putting boats in the water between 8:30 or 9ish a.m. and should be finish by 3 p.m. or so.
See you there!
Bobby
