This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: As this cache seems to have unresolved issues, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Walk down the foothpath to the right of the church. Just before the bridge follow the yellow arrow pointing left.

This stream runs through the valley past St Bartholomew's, past Maltby Crags, through the Norwoods, through the centre of Roche Abbey, emptying into the River Ryton at Blyth a few miles downstream.

The geocache is a small camoflaged container. The ground is sloping towards the dike and can be a bit slippy when it's been raining so please take care. Suitable for older children if they are being supervised. It is possible to get to the bottom of the slope for a paddle in the dike here.

There is room for small swaps and travel bugs.
