Geocache Description:

Foam Flower likes it moist. It's blooming near the creek. Following TW's advice I've placed the cache higher, out of range for flooding.

Foamflower, also called Allegheny Foamflower and False Miterwort, is often found in wet hollows and mossy places in deciduous and mixed woods. It is sometimes associated with cedar and hemlock. Michigan is at the western edge of the range of this species, which is native to woods from Nova Scotia to the eastern edge of Wisconsin and south through the Appalachians to Georgia and Mississippi.

The cache is a "small" camoed pill bottle, tied in. Rolled log with rubber band in a small zip lock plastic bag. No tweezers, please, they kill the plastic. BYOP. You don't want to be without it after you've conquered the steep ups and downs and creek crossings to get to this one. Hiking boots and walking stick suggested. It's on the Red trail, between Miterwort and Fringed Polygala. No easy way to get to it, but shorter from Miterwort.
