Geocache Description:

A new cache along the newest section of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail in Hartman Creek State Park. This is one of four new caches that I am placing along this section. All are placed with the intent to not only provide new caches to find but to also get you out to hike and enjoy this great new section of the IAT.  A big special thanks to all of the volunteers who worked on completing this section of IAT. This cache has a FTF travel tag for the FTF.

This is a continuation of my HCSP IAT series and like my other hides it is placed in a winter friendly location. Please note that there are designated biking trails in HCSP, but bikes and horses are not allowed on most sections of the IAT. Hunters may also be present in these areas during open seasons - please see the attached link for more info. The attached web page will give you more detailed info and current maps for HCSP as well as the IAT. A nice parking area is available north of this new IAT section where you can access the IAT and follow it to either the north or south of Edminister Road. You can also access this section from the south by parking along Windfelt Lane in HCSP. A State Park Pass is required to access this area and park.
