FROM THE ORIGINAL: A series of 30 caches to celebrate the start of the 2011 MLB season and the opening of the new Diamondback spring training facility at Salt River Fields. These caches are all film canisters so don't expect to find a team appropriate container. Please don't leave anything in these containers. Most should be easy to find. The trail system is a seldom used trail that connects MMR to a City of Scottsdale trail that runs along the Sanctuary Golf Course and connects West World to Talisien West. The trail is very flat and varies from narrow and mildly rocky to wide and paved. There is no way to drive this trail. It is perfect for walking, running, or mountain biking. The best place to park centrally is at the Diamondbacks cache. You will have to double back over parts since this is not a loop trail. If you have a favorite MLB team, mention which one in your log and "favorite" the appropriate cache. Will be interesting to see which is the most heavily favorited team.
