TIME: 9AM - 5PM (we will be there from 9-5 but it will not take that long for your rescue mission - you can leave when your team is finished)
SETTING: A SECRET GEO-LAB (at the coordnates listed above: Tourist Info/Library in the basement)
It is only 7 days until the KC Picnic and planning has come to a screetching halt. There has been a breakout of a mysterious geobug and the crew members have become seriously ill. Carlin has contacted her close personal friend Dr Finkelstein (the mad scientist) to help find a cure for the bug and now Carlin has disappeared.
The GBI (Groundspeak Bureau of Investigation) has leads as to the location of Carlin and is seeking your help to rescue her and the antivirus. Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to join the SWAG (Specialized Weapons and Geocachers) team and solve puzzles to find clues to rescue Carlin and the antivirus. (think of being in a life size gadget cache and solving gadgets to find your way out).
This will be a timed event. Due to our limited time restrictions I only have time slots for 8 or 9 teams. Participants must be over 12. Start getting your team of 8 together.
I will reserve team spots for those wanting to play. BUT, you will have to be there and check in by 9:30am the day of the event to confirm your spot or it will be given to a stand-by. Entire team must be present to check in. If you have a full team, email me your team roster and I will save you a spot. If you want to participate but don't have a team, send me an email and I will place you on a team with others looking for team mates. I would like to know ahead of time so I can prepare the schedule. The time to complete the Escape Room will depend on how many teams are signed up. You will not have to wait at the event for your turn. You can go cache and return at your assigned time. For those not wanting to participate just drop by and visit for awhile. St Joe has several caches and there is also a Trails West Event in town that weekend.
