No special tools required to gain access to the tree, though please be aware that a safety harness was used while placing the cache, so to attempt retrieval without safety equipment is to do so at your own risk.
Logging
The honour system is at play here... you climb the tree, you sign the logbook. If you don't climb and choose to remain on the ground to act as support crew or to take photos, then please be honest and post a 'Write Note'. It's up to you. The CO reserves the right to delete dubious logs.
