The Depot

The Depot has almost 400 favorite points and was "Cache of the Week" on gc.com. Come and meet "Chooch", the creator and conductor. He will run his train during the event and you can also explore the other wonderful scenery that he has constructed on site. Discover why this is such a unique place. We will bring some juice and cookies to munch on at "Martini Junction" in case anyone is hungry. No need for you to bring anything else.
There are so many caches in the High Rock Town Forest and nearby, that you could take the whole day finding them all! Stick around until dark and you could even try, Needham at Night! (It can be done in the daylight but is much easier and more fun at night).
You might want to park at the Horsford Ponds entrance (off Central Avenue) to the forest where there is a parking lot and cache your way to the other side of the forest. You could also park at Farley Pond (drive right into the forest there) or there is limited parking anywhere that you see the trailhed icon on the map.
