7.15. Archive or unarchive a geocache
Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

If a cache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance, it will not be unarchived.

How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

A fairly simple pixel pix. The given coordinates are an arbitrary location - there is nothing useful to be found here. The cache is a small cylindrical container containing logbook and pencil

We really enjoy creating pixel art from nonograms and figured it was time we combined our enjoyment of nonograms with our addiction to geocaching. We plan to create a few different puzzles in this mini-series all using pixel pix to help you determine the coordinates.

Use the numbers on the sides to the fill in the grid. Each number represents how many consecutive pixels need to be filled in, in any particular column or row. Where there are multiple numbers in a row you must fill in this number of pixels (in order) leaving a gap of at least one pixel between the groups of filled in pixels.

Icon Puzzle

If you are unfaimilar with Pixel Pix (Nonograms) we recommend trying the simplest one first GC6J4JX

Once completed examine the spaces between filled pixels. Counting the number of consecutive pixels that are unfilled in the pink highlighted column will give you ABCD. Counting the number of consecutive pixels that are unfilled in the blue highlighted row will give you EFG.

The cache can be found at S34 58.UVW, E138 38.XYZ

U = C - A

V = C + D

W = D - B

X = F

Y = E + G - F

Z = E + F + E
