This is the first, in hopefully a series of caches designed and placed by 'The Little Fella'. We got into Geocaching a few months ago, as a great way for the family to explore the great outdoors, as well as a positive distraction from games consoles and tablets etc'.
This area has always been a great place for us to come running, cycling, kicking a ball around and throwing a frisbee.
The cache you're looking for is a well camouflaged film canister. (Trying to explain to a seven year old what a film canister is, took some work, ("Daddy, where does the film go in your phone then?")). This was an opportunity to let 'The Little Fella' loose with some tools and a hot glue gun. We have always enjoyed the creative hiding/camo decisions other cachers have employed in their caches, so wanted to hit the ground running with our first .The cache contains a log and a pencil.
