This cache will be archived sometime around October 11, as the UCA 2016 season is ending soon.
Congratulations to Carol.O for FTF!
This is part of a series of 16 geocaches placed near outdoor art installations. The geocaches will only be available until mid-October. There will also be a bonus geocache for those who find all 16 in the series (look for a number between 1 and 99 on the logbook or container). For other geocaches in the series, see the bookmark list UCA 2016.
At night, look three reflective tacks marking the cache. You should find a natural tool that will help you recover and re-hide the cache.
Stop 6: "The Gloaming" by Barbara Lounder
Artist's description of the installation:"Situated alongside Tinker Brook and under a canopy of mature hemlocks, this installation suggests the barely-seen and mysterious world of half-light at the end of the day. A trail of reflective and fluorescent forms leads the visitor up into the gorge formed by the rushing brook. The Gloaming is a term referring to twilight in English and Celtic lore and language, and it suggests longing, haunting and omens."
