It's near water - so take care of children
This stretch of the river is one of my favourites as it is less busy than that above Waterbeach - also fewer Geocaches - so I decided that needed fixed.
A nice walk is to park at Waterbeach go up to Bottisham Lock and possibly beyond to Swaffam Lock where you'll find GC1FCAG - Swaffam Lock and grab GC6J9QK - Bottisham Pumping Station en route. The return can take in the other side of the river from Bottisham to Waterbeach.
Bottisham lock itself marks the northern boundary of the region controlled by the Cam Conservators.
