Searching for this geocache will bring you to the Crystal Lake Sand Pine Scrub Natural Area. It's a great little park just south of Sample Road in Pompano Beach. The sand near the hide is really as white as snow and beautiful. You can find the cache by starting out on the paved walkway but you will need to take the Sand Pine Trail to ground zero. While on your way there, if you're fortunate and quiet, you may see all sorts of butterflies, lizards, birds, bunnies and, yes, spiders and snakes! When you reach GZ, take a seat and just listen. Park's stated hours are sunrise to sunset.
There is no bushwhacking needed. Please just enjoy the walk and the sounds and sights and leave nature as you found it!
The container is smallish and there is only a log inside so please bring your own pencil/pen. Please replace the container back as found to insure it stays dry for the next geocacher!
Congratulations to mjk71174 for being FTF!
