Geocache Description:

Visionary artist and builder Dan Phillips worked alongside Stephanie Smither to design the park in memory of her late husband, John H. Smither. John and Stephanie were long-time supporters and collectors of self-taught art, as well as board members of the Orange Show Center for Visionary Art. All mosaics are constructed with donated, surplus and recycled materials by about 75 different artists expressing a wide variety of creative visions.

Parking is available along the street adjacent to this small park.  Take a few minutes to look at the variety of mosaics along the "memory wall" as well as the pavilion, sidewalks, band shell and other aspects of the park.  Some years of work by scores of artists have gone into these creations.

March 23, 2024: The geocache has been repaired and it is available again.

Additional Hints (Decrypt)

[The coordinates for this geocache direct you to a whimsical boat with folk art passengers. Facing the boat, to your right you should see a special, mosaic, place of honor to sit. Carefully inspect the decorations of this throne. A collection of souvenirs of the sea hide the geocache]
